The News on the Block Property Management Awards 2015-16 are proud to support the Judges Chosen Charities:

Guildcare, Lionheart, St. Mungo’s Broadway and MacMillan Cancer Support

We will be hosting a Charity Fun Casino, sponsored by Grosvenor Systems, at the event where all ‘Fun Money’ purchases will be donated and split equally between the four charities.

We are also introducing a Silent Auction with lots of exciting items, including sports memorabilia and short breaks, which up for grabs for the highest bidders! The money raised will also be donated to the four charities.

Guildcare have over 60 years experience of providing residential care and nursing care for older people in Worthing. Their residential care homes and nursing homes for elderly people in West Sussex provide residents with choice and as much or as little help as required to encourage independence, ensure a sense of security within a professional caring environment. Their homes can currently offer a nursing room, a dementia place and a residential room available.

The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury; giving children with brain injury the opportunity to live the best life possible. We provide expert rehabilitation, education, therapy and care at our specialist centre in Tadworth, supporting children and families across the UK. We also offer services in communities around the country and online support for parents.

Founded by members of the RICS in 1899, the benevolent fund, Lion Heart, exists to provide confidential advice, information, support, and in certain circumstances financial assistance to those who, for whatever reason, find themselves in difficulty. Past and present members of the RICS and their families are eligible for assistance. Frequently help is given in cases of ill-health, disability or unemployment, separation of families, difficulties in retirement.

St Mungo’s Broadway provides a bed and support to more than 2,500 people a night who are either homeless or at risk, and works to prevent homelessness, helping about 25,000 people a year. They support men and women through more than 250 projects including: emergency, hostel and supportive housing projects, advice services, specialist physical and mental health services, skills and work services. They currently work across London and the south of England including in Bristol, Reading, Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire and Sussex, as well as managing major homelessness sector projects such as StreetLink and the Combined Homelessness and Information Network (CHAIN).
